V. Rev. Canon Gerard Tartaglia VF

Director of Youth

Canon Gerard Tartaglia is a Roman Catholic priest and canon lawyer in the Archdiocese of Glasgow, currently serving as parish priest of Holy Family & St. Ninian, Kirkintilloch. Ordained in 1985, he has extensive pastoral experience, including 18 years in Whitecrook/Clydebank, and is deeply committed to youth ministry, education, and engaging with wider civic and church communities.

Mishal Novani

Youth Officer (Formation & Parish Leadership)

Mishal Novani leads the formation and support of parish youth teams, guiding priests, adult leaders, and young leaders in their mission to accompany young people in faith. She oversees training sessions, gatherings, and residential events, while establishing new youth groups and mentoring staff, ensuring every young person and leader is inspired and equipped to grow in Christ.

Michelle Tortolano

Youth Officer (Parish & Young Adult Support)

Michelle Tortolano supports youth and young adult ministry across parishes, coordinating leaders, facilitating online training, and contributing to gatherings and residential events. She helps establish new groups, deliver intensive parish programmes, and strengthen networks, empowering young people to grow as confident disciples and active members of their faith communities.

Joanna Do Rego

Youth Office Coordinator (Curia, Parishes, Youth & Young Leaders, Apostolates)

Joanna Do Rego coordinates parish and Archdiocesan youth ministry, supporting priests, young leaders, and parish teams in leadership programmes, events, and pilgrimages. She also manages administration, communications, and finances, while leading FORMED leadership pathways and supporting Evangelisation Committee initiatives to strengthen networks and inspire young Catholics.

Fyfe Daly

Youth Officer (Young Adults, Schools & Digital Engagement)

Fyfe Daly develops and delivers programmes for young adults and parish communities, facilitating events and supporting parish initiatives. He manages digital platforms, promotes events, and liaises with schools to provide resources, ensuring faith formation is engaging, accessible, and connected across Glasgow.
