“Lord, let Glasgow flourish by the preaching of Your word and the praising of Your name”
St Mungo
Fuelled by this motto and under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, RCAG Youth aims to accompany young people in encountering Christ through the Sacraments, the Church and each other. Together, in the heart of our parishes, and supported by inspiring movements and creative means, we journey in the adventure of living a life with Christ as His disciples and living it to the full.
That the young people of Glasgow will:
Encounter Christ (Live, Believe, Celebrate, Pray)
Embrace their call, with courage, enthusiasm and joy, to lead other young people to Christ through using their gifts and talents in service of one another.
Experience attractive, encouraging, and inspiring Catholicism both in-person and online.
Experience vibrant parish life where priests and lay people, with a heart for youth, work together to welcome young people, show them they belong and empower them in leadership and service within their community.
Become formed, confident, young disciples, who know their identity as sons and daughters of the Father, who love the Church and who want to be like Christ.
Benefit from a strong network of catholic youth apostolates and parish youth ministry
